Rusty Returning

We anxiously await the arrival of Dad. He has been gone for 10 long days, we can't wait for him to arrive. He should be here Sunday sometime (returning from Malaysia).

Today is a prayer for safety:

Dear Lord:

Please protect Rusty as he travels home today and tomorrow. Protect him on his 20+ hours in the air so that he may reach us safely. Thank You for watching over us (we know You were there!) while he's been gone. We couldn't do it alone, Lord. You provided us with laughter and tears, trials and tribulations, all the while teaching us to become a stronger family in order to effectively praise Your name. Thank You for revealing to me that I CAN DO IT and I can't be perfect at every aspect of motherhood...and that's OK! We love you Lord...

Amen

This is my first time to visit the blog spot... since "blogs" are filtered at work... and give the huge message "access denied" and I'm rarely on my computer at home... So... I must say how impressed I am at how well each and every post is~ I must admit that I got a little choked up reading all of the posts. Since I am negative on the husband and children front... I was overwhelmed with emotion of how I could feel the amount of love that your family has, just by reading yours and Rusty's words. I can only hope that one day I will have half the amount that you do! You are so blessed (and you recognize that) and you don't take anything for granted... I am grateful to have you and Rusty as friends and I miss you dearly. I am taking steps to lessen the "business" of my life so we can spend more time together... especially since we live so very close... Your family is beautiful and I envy your happiness so very much. I love all of you very much... Mitzi and Freebird~
